Today in class we continued our discussions on drug use and abuse.
The fact sheet we looked at can be found here.
We talked about marijuana, methamphetamines, cocaine, heroin, and ecstasy. We talked about the reasons people might consider these drugs and the negative effects they can have on your body and your life. We also talked about some situations they might encounter over the next few years and how to make smart choices. It was, as usual with this class, a very mature and interesting conversation with no goofiness or giggling at all. If you have been thinking about talking to your child about drugs, now might be a good time.
