Today's Math

Apple has sold a great many iPhones.
Below are the numbers of iPhones sold per year.

Remember, the numbers are in millions. So 1.37 is actually 1.37 million, or 1 370 000.

Your title for sales should say something like Sales (in millions)

2007 - 1.39

2008 - 11.63

2009 - 20.73

2010 - 39.99

2011 - 72.29

2012 - 125.05

2013 - 150.26

2014 - 169.22

Here's what to do:
- Make one column called Year
- Enter all the years
- Make a second column called Sales (in millions)
- Enter all the sales
- Graph it
- Make the graph kind of small and move it off to the side
- Label and calculate the Average Sales
- Label and calculate Total Sales
- Make a third column called Average Sales Per Month
- Figure out how to calculate Average Sales Per Month (for each year)
- Make a fourth column called Sales Increase
- Figure out how to calculate Sales Increase (for each year)

- When done everything, make a few graphs to illustrate some of the new data. Remember to hold ctrl to highlight different sections of the data.
