We spent a good part of the day working on mapping and compass skills. Students made maps of the back field, and tomorrow will have to use a compass to plot a path from point to point through the field.
Tomorrow we're launching a big(ish) assignment, parents are very much encouraged to be involved in this one. I'll write all about it tomorrow.
